I had often wondered why Granny Smith was caring for Applejack and Big Mac but not their parents. If that’s the case, where’s Grandpa Smith? So, I thought about it and figured it out. He’s probably just away, leader of a stampede gang who goes around Equestria, working security and drinking hard cider. He also participates in tractor pulls which involve him harnessed to various tractors and pulling them behind them. They say he can buck apples by just glaring at the trees, and they shake so hard the apples fall out. Meet “Hard” Apple Cider, the head of the Apple Household.
